Membership

We invite you to become a financial member for 2023/24 to enjoy the benefits of participating in regular rides and becoming involved in other activities run by the BUG.

Our fees for the 2023/24 financial year are due and payable by 1 July 2023 with the following cost structure:
$15 for each Adult
$10 for a Concession holder (Student/Senior/DSP/DVA)
$30 for 2 Adults and 2 Children (under 18 years of age)

The preferred method of paying Membership fees is by direct deposit into the Whittlesea BUG’s account:

  • BSB: 083 614
  • A/C: 18 478 5745

When paying by direct deposit please include in the reference –

“M: and your name (i.e. M: J SMITH)”

“M:” refers to membership payment, so that we can record your payment.

When paying your membership can you please send a confirmation email to wbuginfo@gmail.com with the following information:
• Your mobile phone number
• Your email address
• Emergency contact details

Membership benefits – regular rides

Explore Melbourne’s extensive bike path network by riding with experienced and knowledgeable ride leaders. You can establish new friendships by riding with like-minded people with a café stop on each of our rides and a ‘no drop’ policy.

We organise regular rides on weekends, including:

  • Weekly rides on a Sunday morning, usually on bike paths
  • Monthly road rides on a Saturday for those wanting to train for cycling events
  • Monthly Women’s Social Ride – connecting and supporting women in a fun and relaxed space
  • Occasional day and overnight trips to explore Victoria’s wonderful range of rail trails.
