Whittlesea BUG is delighted to be able to invite all Whittlesea BUG members to a special presentation by VicBUG App developer Vince Masci on Saturday 21 March, from 1 pm at the Epping RSL. Vince will take us inside the VicBUG platform, showing how riders can map safer, more efficient routes using real‑world cycling‑infrastructure data—bike lanes, shared paths, crossings, gradients, surface types, hazards, and missing links. He’ll also demonstrate the app’s live‑weather integration, which overlays wind, rain, temperature and UV conditions directly onto your planned route, helping riders choose the best time and direction to travel.
You’ll see how these tools support smarter trip planning, local blackspot identification, and evidence‑based advocacy across Whittlesea. It’s a great chance to learn, ask questions, and connect with the developer behind one of Victoria’s most powerful cycling resources.
